Description
In 1973, Korg came out with its first synthesizer, the miniKORG 700, followed just a year later by the improved 700S model. Much more was to follow in the years that followed, such as the pompous PS3100, the once inexpensive polyphonic Polysix, the MS20 and the MonoPoly. This Korg Universe 50th Anniversary Special Edition documents the first decade with 20 instruments and over 300 multisamples plus some sound effects.
The Instruments are known for characterful sounds and have made music history. From smooth lead sounds of the 700S, aggressive of a MonoPoly to unique pads of the PS3100. Of course, the charming synth choirs of Lambda and PE2000, joined by the idiosyncratic string synths of Delta, the scratchy basses of MS20 and fluffy chorus ensemble strings of Polysix. So this Anniverwsary Sound Collection provides a useful construction kit to be used for all possible styles.
